Glenn was born in India and grew up in the United Kingdom before immigrating to Australia in 1976. He commenced his career in the mining industry before joining the police force in Sydney.

He was admitted as a lawyer in 1990 and moved to Queensland where he practised as a Barrister prior to founding his own law firm in 1995.

Glenn is a migration agent. and also a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia and Supreme Court of Queensland. He is a Notary Public and a registered Migration Agent.

He is a past President of the Queensland Law Society (2003 to 2005) and is a Senior Counsellor for the Society.

Glenn holds the following positions:

• President Elect of Lawasia , the Law Association of Asia and Pacific
• Executive Member (Treasurer) of the Law Council of Australia
• Chair of the College of Law Queensland
• Deputy Chairman, Australian India Business Council (Queensland)

He is a Chair of a public listed IT company and a director of companies and foundations in the insurance, superannuation, charity, and education sectors.
